The ideas for tours are numerous and varied.
\nHead North. Crossing the Bauges National Park peacefully leads through beautiful forests teeming with rivers, waterfalls, religious sites, and dairy cooperatives, all the way to Annecy. Then, you can choose to head towards Switzerland or the Aravis with the ski resorts of Haute-Savoie and their superb chalets.
\nTo the East, head towards Mont Revard, which overlooks Aix-les-Bains. Then, on the way to Tarentaise, an essential stop for lunch is Italy, passing through the magnificent Iseran Pass.
\nAnother valley renowned for its ski resorts in winter, but equally interesting the rest of the year: Maurienne, the land of Opinel. The Valloire resort is the gateway to the Southern Alps, and the landscapes here offer yet other styles of mountains.
\nTo the South, the landscapes change again with the Vercors and Chartreuse mountains.
\nHeading South and West also offers the possibility of beautiful rides through the vineyards.

\nThere are many lakes in the region. Of course, there are the two main ones: Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France, 18km long, with its preserved natural shores. Don’t miss the viewpoints, and to the North of the lake, visit the magnificent Hautecombe Abbey and also pass along the peaceful Savi\u00e8res Canal to reach the romantic village of Chanaz. A little further, Lake Annecy: its renowned villages, its very accessible shores, and the typical and lively old town of Annecy. Confidential and peaceful, discover Lake Aiguebelette, at the foot of Mont du Chat. Little urbanized, nature and the countryside are preserved. Look up, you will certainly admire paragliders, having taken off from the mountain summit. The return of this circuit is planned through the vineyards of Jongieux and other villages, one of the most bucolic being Chanaz, then the Savi\u00e8res canal brings you back to the shore of Lake Bourget with a very beautiful perspective of the lake from Ch\u00e2tillon beach. Return to Aix-les-Bains via the Col de La Chambotte and its absolutely breathtaking viewpoint! <\/p>\n
