The floor’s theme is revealed as soon as the lift doors open. The framed portraits on the walls sometimes reveal a film star, sometimes a star of the music scene.
On the first floor, discover L’Élégante, inspired by Audrey Hepburn, Hubert de Givenchy and, of course, Coco Chanel. Black and white dominate, bringing sobriety and calm. The lines are sleek and refined, creating structure and character. The parquet evokes warm leather. Mouldings and alcoves anchor the history of this 19th-century building. Refined, L’Élégante imposes chic through simplicity and contrasts.
On the second floor, L’Extravagante welcomes you into its sparkling galaxy of vibrant colours. Pierre Cardin, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Andy Warhol inspire this world. In the décor and accessories, vivid blue and orange dominate. 1960s design and Pop Art instil a slightly eccentric personality through shapes and materials that play with the mouldings and other historical codes of the place.
Softness, curves, powdery tones… the third floor is the realm of La Voluptueuse, inspired by Balmain, Dior, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron. Underfoot, thick silky carpet brings a sense of unapologetic pleasure. The velvets are generous, and the brass details as well as the bold colours add cheerful touches.
Under the roof, the fourth and final floor, in the attic, is the jewel box of La Bohème. This is the world of Jacquemus, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin. Unpretentious natural materials harmonise with the exposed beams of the roof frame. They inspire the colours, in shades of beige, creating a gentle serenity.
