    Our regional territory, so opulent, is a source of imagination and enthusiasm. Savoie and the Alps, with their mountains, countryside, rivers, and lakes, offer inspiration in abundance! Producers from Savoie Mont-Blanc provide quality and diversity at every level: fish, meats and charcuterie, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, aromatic plants, wines...

    And they harmonize superbly with products from the sea and ocean, productions from our other French regions, our close Italian cousins, exotic products, and many other inspirations.

    Naturally, the menu is renewed with the seasons and also evolves during the season according to the maturity and availability of the best products. You have the freedom to succumb to your desires! Sometimes resulting in difficult choices...
    The menus feature dishes from the à la carte selection, offering you a culinary journey curated by the chef.

    To offer you more choice for lunch (excluding weekends), the ephemeral menu, created according to the inspirations of the moment, is renewed every week. A great excuse to come back again and again!

  • A meal is a wonderful opportunity to treat yourself!

    For Catherine AITIS, the acquisition of the future LEO-PAUL restaurant in 2017 was a true passion project. Located in the heart of the city center, near the casino and the Parc de Verdure, in a lively and gourmet neighborhood, she wanted her establishment to become more than just a business. She wants every guest, upon hearing the restaurant's name, to think "Home."

    As a lover of fine dining, she needed a chef at the helm who matched her style, culinary quality, and mindset. It was only natural that she approached Gilles BLONAY, chef for 25 years at La Grange à Sel* by the lake, which had just closed and was one of her favorite restaurants. It was the meeting of two vibrant, passionate, authentic... and serious individuals.

    Thus, from 2018, Chef BLONAY deployed his expertise, refined and gourmet cuisine at the restaurant, instilling his good humor in both his team and the diners.

    If there is one common goal that drives Catherine AITIS and Gilles BLONAY, it is the gastronomic pleasure they wish for you to experience and share.

    In 2019, a new milestone was reached: the restaurant was renovated. Catherine AITIS was fully involved in shaping it in her image because, for her, the setting and atmosphere are vital to the pleasures of the table.
    It was also that year that Nancia ANDRIANTSALAMA joined the LEO-PAUL team as Sous-Chef.

    Catherine AITIS's connection to the place is strong. Consequently, she renamed the restaurant after her grandson born during the renovations: LEO-PAUL.

    The rebirth of a historic and emblematic address

    At the end of September 2021, the establishment closed for over a year of renovations to transform the building, originally constructed in 1863. Catherine AITIS realized her dream of restoring the entire establishment to its former glory. She gave the LEO-PAUL restaurant full autonomy by distinguishing it from the Grand Hôtel du Parc. At the same time, she created a new living space at the same address on Rue de Chambéry: the M. CHARLES lounge bar.

    Happy to have been able to anticipate his retirement, it was with pride and serenity that Chef Gilles Blonay handed over the kitchen management to his former sous-chef, Nancia ANDRIANTSALAMA, in February 2024. The chef has taken the lead of our restaurant's brigade with as much passion as her predecessor.

    Between Rue Sommeiller and Avenue de Tresserve, more than just a terrace, it is an oasis of greenery that welcomes you all year round in a bohemian chic universe, bearing the sweet name of Leo-Paul and Charles' cousin. By day or by night, the summer and winter gardens are vibrant living spaces. Here, time passes peacefully in a beautiful and gentle atmosphere.

    This extension of the lounge bar, designed as an intimate Eden, offers the ideal place for an aperitif, a break, a lunch, or a digestif, with the feeling of being in a small, peaceful park.
    To fully enjoy your dinner and evening, we invite you to stay until the next day by spending the night at the hotel, the Grand Hôtel du Parc****, at preferential rates.

    At the origin of M. CHARLES was Catherine AITIS's desire to offer Aix-les-Bains a cozy, refined, welcoming, and comfortable living space.
