Built in 1863, it was reborn in summer 2023 to offer a unique, personalized setting in Savoie, in the heart of the Alps.
In our boutique hotel, each of the 4 floors features a thematic ambiance inspired by strong women and cinema, inviting you to a personalized romantic stay. The private spa is reserved for you and accessible during your stay. In this true cocoon, enjoy the pool with its massage jets, the jacuzzi, and the sauna. Choose from the spa treatment menu, created in partnership with Aix-les-Bains wellness professionals, and enjoy a massage performed either in your hotel room if its layout allows, or in our massage area located like the spa in the Longère of the house.

Chef Gilles BLONAY and his team offer gastronomic, indulgent, and generous cuisine. The dining room décor recalls the history of the place with its arches, moldings, antique mirrors, and the warmth and elegance of the parquet flooring. The service is attentive and discreet.
The lounge bar M. CHARLES offers an excellent cocktail menu and invites you to discover a selection of regional products ranging from charcuterie to cheeses, including snails, coffee, and liqueurs. This elegant and intimate space is welcoming at any time of day. It is an alternative for your meals, with its brasserie formulas at lunch as well as boards and tapas for lunch and dinner. And in fine weather, the alternative of another unique setting, right in the city center, is offered to you: settle in on the terrace of the JARDINS de MELINA, in the shade of the vegetation.
The JARDINS de MELINA offer a rare intimate “indoor-outdoor” experience. Located at the center of the house, completely secluded from the surrounding streets, here you are as a couple enjoying the moment. In the summer garden as in the winter garden, the ambient softness and the pleasure of the privilege of private gardens combine. You will appreciate these restful places during the day as well as in the evening. From here, the night is romantic, magical, soothing. You are far from the city and daily life. The stars are visible, as if offered as a gift. On the terrace, the open-air summer garden reveals the Milky Way through the magnolia, maple, and ivy. The ceiling of the winter garden, thanks to its large glass roof opening, reveals the stars while allowing you to relax in the comfort of plush armchairs by the fireplace. Certainly, you will want to take the time for a break to settle into one of the gardens and enjoy the moment. This is also where breakfast is served.
Accessible from the winter garden, the smoking room offers enthusiasts a dandy setting borrowed from English style and made warm by the fireplace.
